It has been awhile since I last thought of you. It's been busy and painful at the same time. Somehow last week I managed to hurt my right shoulder, my forearm hurts and peels and well ... just a different set of stresses. Maybe this is the prize for making it though Chemo and Radiation fairly easily.
My second trip to the hospital was harder and easier at the same time.
Easier since I knew what to expect.
Harder since I knew what to expect, and the stir-crazy-ape-poop-bored hit sooner.
The good news was since we had a better idea of what to expect, I was able to pack some items in advance (all the toys, books, toiletries, etc). I also knew what the procedures were going to be so I was far more relaxed than the first time which made it easier.
Since we managed to get the procedures started earlier, we managed to get all of my treatments started earlier so I was actually able to get out 10 hours earlier than my first visit.
